Last year, The Daystar Creatives Academy ran a 13 week workshop around talent and creativity, with a bias towards writing. Creatives Academy is a workshop courtesy of Daystar University that offers members of the public as well as Daystar students an opportunity to meet and interact with established writers, film makers, bloggers, media personalities and lawyers. The aim of the program is to find and inspire new talent and give participants insights into how they can turn their talents into bill paying careers. The atmosphere was an interactive space that is nothing like ordinary classes. Each week there were notable personalities from the fields above to discuss different aspects of writing. The aim was, and still is, to inspire new talent.
This year, Creatives Academy workshop is back with pretty much the same general agenda. It started on 24th January 2015. It is open to both members of the public as well as Daystar students.
