OUAGA FILM LAB #7 : la sélection

L’équipe du Ouaga Film Lab a le plaisir d’annoncer les projets sélectionnés pour sa 7e édition, qui se tiendra du 26 septembre au 1er octobre 2022, non à Grand-Bassam (Côte d’Ivoire) comme précédemment annoncé mais à Ouagadougou (Burkina Faso).
Plus d’une centaine de candidatures provenant de tous les pays du continent ont été reçues lors l’appel à projets lancé en mars dernier. Après délibération, le comité de sélection du Ouaga Film Lab a sélectionné les 12 projets suivants :
– 5 projets de documentaire, 5 projets de fiction et 2 projets de séries
– 42% des participant-e-s sont des femmes
– Les projets sélectionnés viennent d’Afrique du Sud, Burkina Faso, Bénin, Cap Vert, Côte d’Ivoire, République démocratique du Congo, Égypte, Kenya, Nigéria, São Tomé et Príncipe, République centrafricaine, Sénégal et Tunisie.

OUAGA FILM LAB est organisé en étroite collaboration avec le Centre National du Cinéma et de l’image animée (CNC), l’Institut français (IF Paris, IF Burkina Faso), la Fabrique des cinémas du monde (France), la Cinémathèque Afrique, Groupe Ouest (France), Festival international de film documentaire d’Agadir (FIDADOC), Sud Écriture (Tunisie), ALCA (Agence Livre, Cinéma et Audiovisuel), MiradasDoc (Espagne), Moulin d’Andé (France), Rotterdam Film Lab (Pays-Bas), Dox Box (Allemagne), les Ateliers de l’Atlas du Festival de Marrakech (Maroc), Festival international du film documentaire d’Amsterdam (IDFA, Pays-Bas), WCF (World Cinema Fund), Medienboard-Berlin-Brandenburg ainsi qu’avec le soutien du bureau suisse de la Coopération au Burkina (DDC), le programme d’appui au secteur de la culture (PASEC 5), l’organisation internationale de la Francophonie (OIF), l’institut Goethe à Abidjan, Art in West Africa (AWA), l’Union européenne et organisation des États ACP, Canal Plus Afrique, FOPICA (Sénégal), Onac-Ci (Office National du Cinéma de Côte d’Ivoire), les ministères de la Culture du Burkina Faso, de Côte d’Ivoire et du Sénégal.

The Ouaga Film Lab team is pleased to announce the projects selected for its 7th edition, which will take place from 26 September to 1 October 2022 in Ouagadougou.
More than one hundred applications from all the countries of the continent were received during the call for projects launched in March. After deliberation, the Ouaga Film Lab selection committee selected the following 12 projects:
– 5 documentary projects, 5 fiction projects and 2 series projects
– 42% of the participants are women
– The selected projects come from South Africa, Burkina Faso, Benin, Cape Verde, Ivory Coast, Democratic Republic of Congo, Egypt, Kenya, Nigeria, São Tomé and Príncipe, Central African Republic, Senegal, Tunisia.
