Le Palais de la Culture Moufdi Zakaria à Alger est une grande infrastructure d'accueil des manifestations culturelles et scientifiques en Algérie. L'œuvre architecturale du palais en lui-même, conçu par Bachir Yellès en 1984, lui a valu d'obtenir le premier prix pour le meilleur édifice architectural à caractère arabo-musulman dans le monde arabe.



Inauguré le 1er novembre 1984 à l'occasion du 30eme anniversaire du déclenchement de la révolution, le palais de la culture est un établissement public à caractère administratif et à vocation culturelle, placé sous la tutelle du Ministère de la Communication et de la Culture. Son emplacement privilégié sur les hauteurs du plateau des Anassers en fait un lieu idéal pour l'organisation des manifestations nationales et internationales de grande envergure.



Le Palais de la Culture Moufdi Zakaria a trois misisons :



– Instaurer une vie culturelle permanente en offrant régulièrement au public un programme riche et varié de manifestations culturelles.



– Favoriser les échanges culturels, la communication et la coopération entre l'Algérie et les autres pays.



– Participer activement à travers un partenariat riche et diversifié par la réalisation de manifestations culturelles de qualité touchant à tous les domaines de l'art, des sciences et de la culture.



Cet espace culturel joue un rôle important dans la connaissance et la diffusion des arts nationaux et internationaux. Il a déjà accueilli et exposé :  L'or du Pérou, Miniatures Mogholes, les œuvres tissées de Picasso, Art contemporain espagnol, Exposition sur les Civilisations Chinoises…

The Moufdi Zakaria Palace of Culture in Algiers is a major infrastructure for hosting cultural and scientific events in Algeria. The architectural work of the palace itself, designed by Bachir Yellès in 1984, earned it first prize for the best architectural building of an Arab-Muslim character in the Arab world.



Inaugurated on November 1, 1984 on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the outbreak of the revolution, the Palace of Culture is a public establishment of an administrative nature and with a cultural vocation, placed under the supervision of the Ministry of Communication and Culture. Its privileged location on the heights of the Anassers plateau makes it an ideal place for the organization of large-scale national and international events.



The Moufdi Zakaria Palace of Culture has three missions:



– Establish a permanent cultural life by regularly offering the public a rich and varied program of cultural events.



– Promote cultural exchanges, communication and cooperation between Algeria and other countries.



– Actively participate through a rich and diversified partnership through the production of quality cultural events touching on all areas of art, science and culture.



This cultural space plays an important role in the knowledge and dissemination of national and international arts. It has already hosted and exhibited: Gold from Peru, Mughal Miniatures, Picasso's woven works, Contemporary Spanish Art, Exhibition on Chinese Civilizations…
