Derrière chaque image, objet ou portrait, souffle le vent amer de l’exil. Un peuple attaché à ses traditions millénaires et asservi à sa terre d’où toujours remonte la pierre. Les départs tant attendus y sont des arrachements ! Sous le regard des mères impuissantes, la nouvelle génération perpétue l’exemple des anciens qui se sont exilés pour un jour ou pour toujours. Cette fois-ci les filles font partie du voyage. Elles disent adieu au sang et à la terre kabyle.

This time the girls are part of the trip. They say goodbye to the kabyle blood and ground.
