Bayo (60 ans) souffre de la maladie d’Alzheimer. Son fils Franck (40 ans), enseignant, a toujours vécu avec lui. Les deux hommes ignorent l’existence de cette maladie, inconnue au Cameroun. Depuis peu, Franck trouve le comportement de son père étrange et irrationnel. Bayo, en revanche, ne comprend pas l’agacement de son fils contre lui. Occupé par son travail et désorienté par l’attitude de son père, Franck décide d’engager une jeune femme pour veiller sur Bayo.
Rachel (20 ans) propose ses services pour s’occuper de Bayo. Elle est dans une situation difficile. Elle souffre d’un grave problème rénal et doit rapidement récolter des fonds pour une greffe. Une relation forte naît entre ces trois personnages qui partagent désormais la même vie. Bayo commence à aimer Rachel comme sa propre fille. Son état de santé se détériore rapidement mais il insiste pour donner son rein à Rachel qu’il juge bien trop jeune pour quitter ce monde et ses délices. Mais comment donner un organe quand on a perdu la tête ?
Franck est désormais responsable de son père qui ne le reconnaît même plus. Franck adore Rachel, il en est même amoureux, mais comment choisir entre son cœur et son sang ? Il sait que la santé fragile de son père rend son plan dangereux, et qu’il pourrait mourir pendant cette opération. Néanmoins, Franck honore la volonté de son père. Finalement, Rachel a un nouveau rein et peut à nouveau rêver. Quant à Bayo, il peut rejoindre sa chère et tendre épouse, heureuse et sereine.

Bayo (60) suffers from Alzheimer’s disease. His son Franck (40), a teacher, has always lived with him. Both men are unaware of the existence of this disease, unknown in Cameroon. Recently, Franck finds his father’s behaviour strange and irrational. Bayo, on the other hand, does not understand his son’s annoyance with him. Busy with his work and confused by his father’s attitude, Franck decides to hire a young woman to look after Bayo.
Rachel (20 years old) offers her services to look after Bayo. She is in a difficult situation. She suffers from a serious kidney problem and has to raise money for a transplant quickly. A strong relationship develops between these three characters who now share the same life. Bayo begins to love Rachel like her own daughter. His health deteriorates rapidly but he insists on giving his kidney to Rachel, whom he considers far too young to leave this world and its delights. But how can you donate an organ when you have lost your mind?
Franck is now responsible for his father who no longer recognises him. Franck adores Rachel, he is even in love with her, but how can he choose between his heart and his blood? He knows that his father’s fragile health makes his plan dangerous, and that he could die during the operation. Nevertheless, Frank honours his father’s wishes. Finally, Rachel has a new kidney and can dream again. As for Bayo, he can go back to his dear and loving wife, happy and serene.
