John, (re)venu de France, compte s’installer durablement dans L’Argile, un secteur de la ville de Ouidah, où il développe un festival international de film. Sa femme française et ses enfants ne sont pas prêts pour un tel retour au bercail. Sur place, John tombe sous le charme de Ludivine, La Fée Argile, presque-célibataire et enceinte d’un autre. John, returning from France, plans to settle permanently in L’Argile, a district of the city of Ouidah, where he is developing an international film festival. His French wife and children are not ready for such a return to their homeland. On site, John falls under the spell of Ludivine, « The Argile Fairy, » almost single and pregnant by another.
