Le film retrace l’itinéraire d’enfance du réalisateur à travers la ville de Marrakech, fait il y a quelque années avec son appareil photographies du passé, porteuses d’un message ou non, intérieures ou extérieures, tendres ou cruelles, liées dans un film établissant un va et vient entre le mouvement dans l’image et le caméra, le blanc et la couleur, le passé et le présent.

Through his chilhood pictures, the director counts his life in the city of Marrakesh. The photographs carry a message, and get tied together trough the movie. It shapes a dialogue between color and black and white, between the present and the past.

Ocher Memory is a 20-minute documentary directed by Daoud Aoulad-Syad in 1989.
