Flashback sur les seventies agonisantes dans le ghetto black américain : Jimmy Bones (Snoop Dogg), parrain local, arpente son turf avec le sourire de celui qui a su faire le grand écart entre banditisme et vie de quartier. Apprécié de tous, il est l’ami des enfants et le protecteur des commerçants. Sa femme est la somptueuse Pearl (Pam Grier), son second est le fidèle Shotgun (Ronald Selmour) et tout le monde connaît ses costumes flamboyants, son couteau à double lame et sa bague en diamant vert. Quand Jimmy Bones est brutalement assassiné, la maison dans laquelle il a été éliminé devient une bâtisse maudite générant les plus sombres rumeurs…
De nos jours, vingt ans après les événements : Pearl a élevé seule sa fille Cynthia (Bianca Lawson), le dealer Eddie Mack (Ricky Harris) traîne toujours dans le coin et Shotgun vit encore en face de la maison du crime, hurlant des avertissements paranos à tous ceux qui veulent y pénétrer. De fait, la maison abandonnée semble habitée par des esprits frappeurs, qui ont raison de deux teenagers venus dens le quartier acheter de la drogue.
Un événement inattendu vient troubler le calme relatif de ce ghetto en huis clos : une bande de jeunes ados avides de prouver leurs talents d’entrepreneurs a racheté le bail de la maison damnée. Parmi eux on trouve les fils de Jeremiah (Clifton Powell), l’ancien partenaire de Bones qui a quitté le quartier après sa mort. Pourquoi tient-il tant à ce que ses fils renoncents à ouvrir leur club dans la maison maudite ?

Bones
A horror-thriller starring rapper turned actor Snoop Dogg in his first lead role. In this hip and stylish film, notorious street hustler Jimmy Bones (Snoop Dogg) is inadvertently brought back from the dead and seeks revenge on those who killed him over twenty years ago.

In 1979, Jimmy Bones, a legendary protector and patron of his thriving urban neighborhood is betrayed and murdered by those closest to him. Flash forward to the present day. The once elegant brownstone where Bones lived has become an abandoned memorial to him. It is well known that strange happenings surround the house, and those who are foolish enough to enter often don’t come out. The sons of Jeremiah (Clifton Powell) one of those who betrayed Bones, move into the house, unaware of the danger. Once they arrive, a series of strange and unexplainable events begin to take place, and it becomes clear that Jimmy Bones is staging a comeback, hell-bent on revenge. But Bones spirit is also drawn back to the world by his love for a woman, Pearl (Pam Grier), and his daughter Cynthia (Bianca Lawson), born after his death.
