C’est l’histoire de six femmes torturées par la vie, dont Pam, le personnage central qui n’a plus le contrôle sur sa vie depuis qu’elle a perdu brutalement son mari. Elle se réfugie auprès de sa mère qui lui donne une potion miracle censée lui faire tout oublier. Mais c’est l’effet inverse qui se produit. Pam doit faire face à ce qu’elle est vraiment, et surtout à son passé. Cette histoire porte un regard sur les obsessions, les peurs, les regrets, les colères, et le mal de vivre dans la société contemporaine africaine.

This is a story about six complex women who have a hard time dealing with reality. They have obsessions, phobias, and addictions which they resort to in order to cope.
The central character, Pam is an escapist.
Whenever she is hurt emotionally, she goes to see her mother who gives her a potion to erase the memory of her suffering. But this time, things go wrong, the potion doesn’t work and all her past comes tumbling down uncontrollably. Suddenly, she realizes that her life has been nothing but a big lie as she is forced to face reality.
Surrounding Pam, are others characters with sordid societal dysfunctions. Some of these women eventually get help with their problems, but others have delved so deeply into their world that they are emotionally dead.
In the middle of all this, there is a 16 year old girl, called Bébé, who is trying to escape from all this mental pressure, to live her own life.
The film is about a choice you have to make in crucial moment of your life for the pursuit of happiness.
