C’est au Dirty Jim Swizzle Club, en 1955, que le jeune Superior qui n’avait alors que 17 ans, croisa pour la première fois la route de Sparrow. Un demi-siècle plus tard, ils se retrouvent sur cet album où le premier honore le second en reprenant de la plus belle des façons, « Jean & Dinah ». Un gardien de la mémoire du Calypso et de sa culture.

The first time Superior crossed paths with Sparrow was at the tender age of 17, in 1955 at none other than Dirty Jim’s Swizzle Club. Half a century later,they are reunited on this album, where superior pays hommage to Sparrow in the sweetest possible way, with his rendering of « Jean & Dinah ». Lord superior is the guardian of calypso ‘s legacy and culture.
