Gerhard Marx

Gerhard Marx est diplômé de l’École des Beaux-arts Michaelis de l’Université du Cap, diplôme qu’il a obtenu en 1998. Son engagement dans le théâtre a débuté avec « The Chimp Project » (2000), une production de la Handspring Puppet Company. Sa collaboration avec Lara Foot Newton débuta en 2001 avec une production de « En Attendant Godot » de Samuel Beckett, suivie de « Un Tramway nommé Désir » (2002).
Il a coréalisé avec Lara Foot Newton le documentaire « And There in the Dust » (2004), avec le projet de faire de ce film un long métrage d’animation.

Gerhard Marx graduated from the Michaelis School of Fine Arts, University of Cape Town in 1998. His involvement in the theatre began with the Handspring Puppet Company’s production « The Chimp Project » (2000). His collaboration with Lara Foot Newton commenced in 2001 with a production of Samuel Beckett’s « Waiting For Godot » followed by « A Streetcar Named Desire » (2002).
