Qudus Onikeku

Qudus ONIKEKU est le Directeur Artistique et le coordinateur de projets à Yk Projects. Danseur, acrobate, acteur et théoriste, sa tradition Yoruba joue un rôle particulier dans son art.

Qudus ONIKEKU is the Artistic director and project coordinator for Yk Projects. A Dancer, Acrobat, Actor and Theorist, his Yoruba tradition plays a peculiar role in his art, for more than a decade Qudus has been a word in the world of choreography in Lagos and toured in over 27 countries around the world, he is also known in Europe and the Caribbean for his solo piece lost face 2004, tours with Heddy Maalem’s pieces, with the Alajotas, with his current research project « Do we need cola-cola to dance? » and presently a student of the National Center of Circus Arts (CNAC) France.
