Le réalisateur Egyptien Ahmed Rashwan est titulaire d’un BA en droit et d’un BA en cinéma, obtenu à l’Institut des films du Caire. Il a écrit et réalisé plus d’une vingtaine de films fictions documentaires et vidéos courts métrages. En tant que producteur, il en a produit plus d’une dizaine.
Il a aussi écrit deux livres, l’un sur le réalisateur de films documentaires, Samir Ouf, l’autre sur le cinéma Arabe indépendant, en collaboration avec Hossam Elouan.
Il a enfin été membre de Jurys Internationaux de festivals de films et remporté par sa production cinématographique plusieurs prix et récompenses dans des compétitions à travers le monde.

Nasceu na Alexandria, Egito, em 1969. Diretor, produtor, roteirista e diretor de produção da Dream Production – Egito. Formou-se em Direito na Universidade de Alexandria, em 1990, em produção e direção de cinema no Instituto de Cinema do Cairo, em 1994.
Trabalhou com diretor-assistente na realização dos filmes Shams el-Zanati, dirigido por Samir Saif, The Captain, dirigido por Sayed Said, Mr. Karate, Very hot day e The Days of Sadat, dirigidos por Mohamed Khan. Em 2002, escreveu um livro sobre o documentarista Samir Ouf, bem como um livro sobre o cinema árabe independente, em colaboração a Hossam Elouan. Escreveu e dirigiu curtas-metragens, documentários e séries para televisão.

The Egyptian director Ahmed Rashwan has got a BA in law and a BA in cinema at the institute of films in Cairo.
He has written and directed more than twenty fiction documentaries and short film videos. As a producer, he has produced more than tens film. He has written two books, one on the documentary films director, Samir Ouf., and one on the independent Arabic cinema in collaboration with Hossam Elouan.
