Ousmane Dia

Artiste plasticien originaire de Tambacounda (Sénégal) s'exprimant à travers la peinture, la sculpture, les installations, parfois la performance, diplômé de l'Ecole Nationale des Arts de Dakar et de l'Ecole Supérieure d'Art Visuel de Genève. Depuis 1997, a exposé ses ?uvres ou pris part à plusieurs workshop au Sénégal, en Suisse, en Allemagne, en France. Titulaire d'un diplôme en Gestion culturelle des Universités de Genève et Lausanne. Enseigne les arts visuels dans l'enseignement public à Genève. Fondateur et président du Collectif Artistes Plasticiens (au Sénégal et en Suisse), à l'origine des échanges artistiques TGD (Tambacounda-Genève-Dakar).

Visual artist born in Tambacounda (Senegal) who explores through his work painting, sculpture, installation and performance. He is graduated from the University of Art and Design of Geneva and from the National Academy of Arts of Dakar. Since 1997 he has many exhibitions and participated to workshops in Senegal, Switzerland, Germany and France. He also holds a diploma in Cultural Management from the Universities of Geneva and Lausanne. He is a visual art teacher in a public school in Geneva.
Founder and president of CAP he is at the origin of the TGD (Tambacounda-Geneva-Dakar) exchanges.
