Cinéaste burkinabèe-américaine basée à New York, le premier court métrage de Leslie Tô, « Redefinition », a été tourné à Harlem et aborde la question universelle de l’hybridité culturelle avec un accent particulier sur l’expérience de la diaspora africaine. Elle a depuis réalisé deux autres courts métrages qui sont utilisés avec « Redefinition » pour former une compilation intitulée « What Does the Beginning of Pan-Africanism Feel Like? » Elle travaille actuellement dans les acquisitions culturelles pour Link TV, une station de télévision par satellite non commerciale qui propose un mélange de documentaires, de nouvelles internationales et de programmes culturels du monde entier.

Leslie TÔ is a film director, screenwriter, film editor and producer.

She is known for « Redefinition » (2006, Director / Producer), « En route » (2021, Director / Producer).

A Burkinabé-American filmmaker based in New York, Leslie Tô’s first short film, « Redefinition », was shot in Harlem and addresses the universal issue of cultural hybridity with a particular focus on the experience of the African Diaspora. She has since made two other short films which are being used with « Redefinition » to form a compilation called « What Does the Beginning of Pan-Africanism Feel Like? » She currently works in Cultural Acquisitions for Link TV, a non-commercial satellite television station that features a mixture of documentaries, international news, and cultural programs from around the world.
