Philippe L. Dib

Philippe L. DIB est un réalisateur et producteur d'origine franco-libanaise qui vit au Caire. En 1996, il a co-écrit et réalisé son premier film, "Welcome Says The Angel", tourné pendant la flambée de violences suite à l'affaire Rodney King à Los Angeles.
En 2006, il a réalisé le documentaire "El Tanbura", lauréat de nombreux prix.
Il a également participé au documentaire "1/2 Revolution" (2012). Il a filmé un tiers des images de ce film, dans lequel il apparaît aussi à l'écran. Il en est également musicien et producteur associé.

Philippe L. DIB is a French-Lebanese Film director and Film Producer who is living in Cairo, Egypt. In 1996, he co-writes and directed his first film, "Welcome Says The Angel", shot during the demonstrations following the Rodney King's case in Los Angeles.
En 2006, he directed the multi-awarded documentary "El Tanbura".
He participated also to the documentary "1/2 Revolution" (2012). He shot one third of this film, in which he appears. He the composer and associate producer of this documentary.
