Guy Davidi

Guy Davidi, israélien d’origine, est réalisateur, camera-man et monteur depuis l’age de 16. Il a participé comme opérateur à divers documentaires dont « Les Souvenantes », « La mère de Hamza », « Le temps des tortues » ainsi que « Journal d’une Orange » pour France 3 ; Comme monteur à « Boite de Pandore » ses premiers courts-métrages comme un réalisateur: « In working progress » et « Un don du ciel » ont participés à divers festivals du film au monde. Son dernier projet en développement avec le réalisateur palestinien Emad Burnat qui va s’appeler « 5 Camera Cassées » a gagne’ ressemant le prix de ITVS au 4eme forum de Greenhouse et aussi le soutien du fonds Jan Vrijman du festival d’IDFA.

Guy is an Israeli documentary filmmaker and cinema teacher. He is directing, editing, and shooting films since the age of 16. As a cameraman he shot films such as « Hamza », « Les souvenantes », and « The time of the turtles » for Israeli channel 2, and « Journal d’une orange » for France 3 TV channel. As an editor he is now editing « Pandora’s box » supported by the New Israeli Cinema Fund. He directed several short films notably « In working progress » and « A gift from heaven », that participated in dozens of film festivals around the world. And he has recently won at the « Greenhouse » forum the award of an ITVS development funding for a new film, which is in filming, named « 5 Broken Cameras ».
