Mohammed Al Hawajri

Mohammed Hawajri est né en 1975, il vit à Gaza (Palestine).

Mohammed Hawajri (b. 1975, lives in Gaza) studied drawing and painting at the YMCA in Gaza. In addition to local personal exhibits, Hawajri has shown his work internationally, and is one of the founders of the Fine Art programme in the Palestinian Red Crescent Society in the Gaza strip as well as the Eltiqa Group for Contemporary Art. Hawajri works in a wide and fluctuating range of media – paintings, sculpture, video art, photography -, his choice frequently determined by such everyday matters as which materials happen to be available at a given time in the restrictive conditions in which Gazans live.
