Violaine Harchin

Productrice et Distributrice française.

Après une formation en sociologie, Violaine a souhaité confronter son intérêt pour les sciences humaines à sa passion pour le cinéma documentaire, en intégrant le Masterpro Image et Société, à Evry. Elle y apprit à mettre des réflexions sociologiques au service des images et à porter un film documentaire de son écriture à sa diffusion. Parallèlement à la réalisation de quelques projets personnels, Violaine s’est beaucoup investie dans le champ de la diffusion de films par le biais de collectifs de cinéma, mais s’est surtout employée à travailler pour des sociétés de production de documentaires principalement en tant que chargée de production et notamment pendant plus de 6 ans pour ICTV Solferino en travaillant autour de projets de nature internationale.
Avec Aleksandra Cheuvreux, elle gère DOC(K)S 66 : une société de production et de distribution, spécialisée dans le genre documentaire.

After a training in sociology, Violaine wished to confront her interest in human sciences with her passion for documentary films by integrating the Master in Image and Society at the University of Evry. She learned how to put a sociological approach at the service of the images and to manage a documentary film from its very first stage to the broadcast. At the same time, she has directed some personal projects. Violaine got deeply involved into the field of the distribution of films through collectives of cinema, but especially strove to work for production companies of documentaries mainly as in charge of production. For over 6 years, she devoted herself to ICTV Solferino working on projects related to international nature.
With Aleksandra Cheuvreux, she manages DOC(K)S 66 : a production and distribution company, specialized in documentary films
