Marouan Omara

Réalisateur, producteur et photographe égyptien.

Né en 1987, au Caire, Egypte, Marouan OMARA est un cinéaste qui travaille avec le cinéma, la vidéo et la photographie. Il a eu son diplôme en réalisation à la Art & Technology of Cinema Academy et sa Licence en Arts appliqués à l’Université de Helwan, Egypte. Il est actuellement chargé de cours en production de cinéma à l’Université américaine du Caire.

Marouan OMARA (1987, Cairo, Egypt) is a young creative filmmaker from Cairo.
Marouan Omara is a filmmaker, working with film, video and photography, born in 1987 in Cairo, Egypt. He got his diploma in film-making at the Art & Technology of Cinema Academy and his BA in Applied Arts from Helwan University, Egypt. His works have a dream-like notion, overlapping fiction and reality by responding directly to the surroundings and the closeness to everyday experiences. He currently works as an adjunct professor for film production at the American University in Cairo.

He was educated in photography and film, after which he became a freelance photographer, produced a row of documentaries, made a few commercials and worked on several film productions in different positions. He has participated in the Durban Talent Campus for young filmmakers.

مروان عمار

روان عمارة صانع أفلام وثائقية من مصر. درس الفنون التطبيقية في جامعة حلوان إلى جانب صناعة الأفلام في أكاديمية السينما والفنون والتكنولوجيا في مصر. ويهدف من خلال أعماله إلى التعبير عن أفكار تشبه الأحلام عبر استكشاف تقاطع الخيال مع الواقع. يدرّس حالياً مادة الفيلم والفيديو في الجامعة الألمانية في القاهرة، وهو أستاذ مشارك في إنتاج الأفلام في الجامعة الأمريكية في القاهرة
