Hadrien Diez is a free-lance cultural journalist based in Nairobi, Kenya. Passionate about the vibrant African literary scene, he endeavours to introduce it to Western audiences through various websites such as AfricaBookClub.com in the U.S. and Africultures.com in France.
Writing both in English and French, Hadrien likes to see his work as a platform between Francophone and Anglophone Africa. In that respect, he regularly drafts portraits of Francophone writers for different South African magazines (Extra!, TheAfrican.org, Wordsetc…). He also co-edit Intofrench.org, a website aiming to present French culture to Southern African audiences.
Hadrien has published several short stories in French. He keeps procrastinating in finding a decent end to his first novel.
