Mercy Ohemaa

Ohemaa Mercy had her calling into the Ghana Gospel Music Ministry and The Ghana Music Industry 5years ago. She entered the Gospel scene and the Music Industry with a vision and they are as follows:

1. To encourage and to bring hope to the down hearted through music and her personal life.

2. To win souls into the Kingdom of God through her songs.

3. To draw attention of his listeners to the fact that the name 'JESUS and HIS BLOOD' still performs even more than it did in the days of Old.

4. To change the minds set of our citizenry that there is hope for everyone and there is hope for Ghana.

MUSIC CAREER

 

Ohemaa Mercy released her first album later part of November 2004-2006 and the Title of this album was Adamfo Papa. This album enjoyed a massive airplay after its release and this brought Ohemaa into the lime light. She won 7 Nomination for the 2006 Ghana Music Awards but couldn’t win any of the awards. She later won the Discovery of the year for the Gospel Music Awards the same year.

 

2007 Ohemaa Released a New Album titled EDIN JESUS and this album was very successful and was the highest sold album as at 2008. 875,000 CD copies had been sold as at April 2008.This album won Ohemaa 10 nominations for the 2008 Ghana Music Awards. This was the highest Nominations so far in the history of the Awards Scheme. She won three of the Major Trophies.

In the same year Ohemaa Mercy Won a GRAND MEDAL During the National Honours Award from the Ex-President of Ghana J.A. Kuffour.
