Born September 5th, 1988 on the cool shores of Mombasa Kenya,
Sarah Hassan is one of the fastest rising young actresses in Kenya. You may know her as Tanya, the Tahidi High character that introduced her to our screens and won her a Best Actress Award at Chaguo la Teeniez.
Sarah had a role in the 2010 television film I Am Slave produced for the UK’s Channel 4. She holds a Bachelors’ degree in Actuarial Science from Jomo Kenyatta University proving that she has both beauty and brains.
Sarah doubles up as a television host having hosted the popular dance show Sakata. She is currently the Swahili host of the continental entertainment show Mashariki Mix on Mnet and locally the Wedding Show on Citizen TV.
Sarah hosted the live from the red carpet show at the 2014 African Movies Viewers’ Choice Awards in Lagos Nigeria.
