Lydia Achieng' Abura (Achieng' Abura)

Achieng Abura is a musician from Kenya, who performs Afro-jazz, Afro-fusion and gospel music. She debuted with a gospel album I Believe around 1990.Abura won Kora Award in 2004 for Best East African Female.

Her latest CD ‘Spirit Of A Warrior’ was voted among the top Afro-Jazz releases in Francophone Africa.

Abura is well known to exude confidence in whatever she undertakes.
