Scarcely two meters largely, slim and athletically. Special characteristic are his long rastas, which belong somehow to many men of the Caribbean Island Jamaica.
Andru Donalds doesn’t have a fixed musical style. That’s why he can be Pop, Rock’n’Roll, Reggae & Ballads. His influences have been: The Beatles, Prince, Bob Marley, Queen, Michael Jackson & Black Uhuru.
Contrary to most of his compatriots Andru Donalds is limited by no means on Reggae and Rastafari mythology. “My father informed as a professor of Theology and Psychology to the Princeton University (New Jersey), in Atlanta, London and New York. The Campus was my playground, I was exposed to the most diverse humans and cultures, which affected my musical development. Additionally I got classical music training as a child and sang in the boy‘s choir. Naturally my parents would have preferred me to pursue an academic career, but I was always the rebel of the family and I knew that this is not my way of life.”
