Roger Botembe Mimbayi

Né à Kinshasa en 1959, Roger Botembe Mimbayi est l’un des artistes-peintres les plus en vue de Kin. En novembre 2001, il exposait 80 tableaux reprenant dix ans de peinture et s’inscrivant dans sa philosophie esthétique, le trans-symbolisme du masque africain.

Born in Kinshasa, on 4 March 1959, the painter monumentaliste muraliste Botembe among, many decorations for his track record, the Belgian Government, the award of excellence in the city of Brussels, gold medal the Prix du Museum of contemporary art of Louvain-la-Neuve. He has participated in many exhibitions: zaïre, Centre culturel français de Kinshasa, Centre culturel Auderghem (Brussels), International Trade Centre Museum David and Alice Van Buren (Brussels), Gallery Symphonie des Arts (Kinshasa), Louis Van Bever and Galerie De Clèves in Kinshasa Gallery.
« In July 1995, exposure at the Intercontinental Hotel was conducted within the framework of the association’Zaïr’ Art square » which he is founder and advise artistic.
