Moshé MIZRAHI (Moshé Mizrahi, en hébreu משה מזרחי) est un réalisateur et scénariste israélien. Il est né le 05 septembre 1931 à Alexandrie (alors royaume d’Égypte) et mort le 03 août 2018 à Tel Aviv (Israël).

Moshé Mizrahi nait le 5 septembre 1931 à Alexandrie en Égypte. En 1946, il part s’installer avec sa mère et son jeune frère en Palestine mandataire. Dans les années 50, il se forme en autodidacte au cinéma. En France, il travaille pour la télévision, pour la production et rédige des critiques de films.
Il a réalisé 14 films en Israël et en France. Son film le plus notable est « La Vie devant soi » (1977), adaptation du roman éponyme à succès de Romain Gary. Le film valut à son réalisateur l’Oscar du meilleur film en langue étrangère et le César de la meilleure actrice à Simone Signoret, son actrice principale.

Moshé MIZRAHI (Moshé Mizrahi, in Hebrew משה מזרחי) is an Israeli director and screenwriter. He was born on September 05, 1931 in Alexandria (then kingdom of Egypt) and died on August 03, 2018 in Tel Aviv (Israel).

Moshe Mizrahi was born on September 5, 1931 in Alexandria, Egypt. In 1946, he moved with his mother and younger brother to Mandatory Palestine.
In the 1950s, he trained as a self-taught filmmaker. In France, he works for television, for production and writes film reviews.
He has made 14 films in Israel and France. His most notable film is La Vie devant soi (1978), an adaptation of the successful novel of the same name by Romain Gary1. The film won the Oscar for best foreign language film for its director and its lead actress, Simone Signor, and the César for best actress.
