Petit frère du célèbre avocat Me Cheikh Khoureyssi Bâ, il était l'époux de l'actrice Amélie Mbaye ("Frontières", d'Apolline Traoré).
Il est mort le 17 août 2023, à Rufisque (Sénégal) des suites d'une maladie.
