Cinzia QUADRATI est une historienne du cinéma, traductrice, programmatrice et journaliste.
Elle est diplômée en histoire du cinéma (Université de Pavie, Italie), avec une thèse sur Djibril Diop Mambéty, cinéaste sénégalais. Elle a travaillé au Festival du cinéma africain d'Asie et d'Amérique latine à Milan (d'abord dans le comité d'organisation, puis au comité de sélection des courts métrages). Parallèlement, elle s'est toujours intéressée aux migrations, à l'enseignement de l'italien aux étrangers et au traitement des services destinés aux immigrants dans différentes associations. Elle écrit sur le cinéma, pour le magazine "Popoli". Cinzia a participé à la traduction du volume "Sembène Ousmane", édité par Thierno I. Dia (en 2009, en double version italienne et française).
Elle a dirigé (avec Simona CELLA), le livre "Djibril Diop Mambéty ou le voyage de la hyène" (préface de Martin Scorsese), 2020, 182 p., ed. L'Harmattan (version en italien : "Djibril Diop Mambéty o il viaggio della iena. La rivoluzione cinematografica di un visionario regista senegalese", L'Harmattan Italia, 2019).

Cinzia QUADRATI is a film historian, translator, programmer and journalist.
She graduated in cinema history (University of Pavia, Italy), with a thesis on Djibril Diop Mambéty, Senegalese filmmaker. She worked at the Festival of African Cinema of Asia and Latin America in Milan (first in the organizing committee, then in the selection committee for short films). At the same time, she has always been interested in migration, teaching Italian to foreigners and dealing with services for immigrants in different associations. She writes about cinema, for the magazine "Popoli". Cinzia participated in the translation of the volume "Sembène Ousmane", edited by Thierno I. Dia (in 2009, double version Italian and French).
