Marloes Janson

Marloes Janson a obtenu son Ph.D. en anthropologie à l’université de Leiden, en 2002, avec sa thèse « The Best Hand is the Hand that Always Gives. Griottes and Their Profession in Eastern Gambia ». Elle est actuellement associée, en tant que « post-doc research fellow », à l’International Institute for the Study of Islam in the Modern World (ISIM) à Leiden. Ses travaux de recherches portent sur les griots musulmans (finoos) en Gambie
