AYANKEN FILMPRODUCTION is a film production company located in Sidi Bouzid, Tunisia. We first started producing in 2010. Since then, Ayanken focuses on the production of ambitious and multifaceted movies that have been shown in festivals around the world.

Ridha Tlili and Ayten Mutlu Saray, Producer and Filmmaker, both work project-related in development, finance, production, management, post-production and marketing.

AYANKEN FILMPRODUCTION market documentaries and feature films for international film and television. We aim at films with content and aftermath. We pursue continuity in cooperation with the filmmakers, are curious and open to new talent. One of our strengths and therefore aim is the work and enhancement within a low budget range. We furthermore aim at the continued expansion of a network of international co-production partners.

Ridha Tlili, is an independent filmmaker based in Sidi Bouzid / Tunisia.
In his work, Ridha Tlili has consistently probed the boundaries between documentary and fiction, cinema tradition and cutting-edge technology. With « Revolution under 5min. » (2011) and « JIHA » (2011) he established his trademark audio-visual style based on a combination of cinema-verité camerawork.

Ayten Mutlu Saray, studied science of communication, anthropology and science of religion at the University of Fribourg and at the Free University of Berlin until and attended the Ecole Superiore d‘Art Visual in Geneva. Since then, she realized independent post-art films and film-led projects in western China, Africa (Senegal and Maghrep) and the Middle East. Currently she is a PhD fellow at the Chair of Cultural Studies at the University of Basel/Switzerland.

Miriam Younes, studied Middle Eastern Studies and Sociology at the University of Freiburg in Germany. She is currently a PhD fellow at the Department of Society and Globalisation at the University of Roskilde, Denmark.
She works project-related in international coordination, postproduction and festivals.
