Helmed by Tamsin Andersson, Kagiso Lediga and Isaac Mogajane, Diprente is an independent Johannesburg-based producer of live action and animated content.

Our activities span development, financing and production of television shows and films for a global audience. Our work includes the two-time International Emmy Award nominated satirical news show Late Nite News with Loyiso Gola and the drama series Queen Sono, Netflix’s first Original Series from Africa which broke into Netflix’s Top Ten lists across the globe including the US.

Our recent feature films and shorts include the coming of age caper Matwetwe/Wizard which garnered cult status in South Africa during its 12 week theatrical run, the Netflix romantic dramedy Catching Feelings, and the short film What Did You Dream?

Collectively our films have been exhibited at international film festivals including Rotterdam (IFFR), Fantastic Fest, Clermond-Ferrand International Short Film Festival, Palm Springs International Film Festival, LA Film Festival, BIFAN and Seattle International Film Festival.
