Established 5 years ago by François d’Artemare and Maria João Mayer, who both developed a solid individual experience in France and Portugal respectively, Filmes do Tejo is today an active production house that has been developing two distinct activities:

* EXECUTIVE PRODUCTION, ensures the production of foreign films – PUBLICITY, FILMS MADE FOR TV and FEATURE FILMS – benefiting as it does from a set of extremely favourable conditions – climactic, the wide variety of decors, competitive production costs – as well as a team of professionals with recognised experience and technical knowledge.

* OUR FILMS
The development of the aforementioned activity has enabled us to enthusiastically and serenely dedicate ourselves to the production of our own films: DOCUMENTARIES, SHORTS and FEATURE FILMS as well as PROGRAMMES MADE FOR TELEVISION.

We are committed to giving shape and form to this long-term project: a commitment to projects with an identity, be it in regards to its subject matter or the approach and aesthetics. A commitment to directors, with whom we want to grow. And for our films to have the greatest possible visible outlet both at a national and international level.
