En deux ans, Art’mell est devenu un groupe de producteurs indépendants incontournable, fort de la complémentarité de ses membres, français, européens ou extra européens qui ont choisi de s’associer pour confronter et financer leurs projets et leurs rêves.

Leur point commun : dans leur pays respectifs, ils défendent la qualité, l’originalité et la créativité de leur cinématographie face aux exigences purement commerciales édictées par la loi du marché. Art’mell leur a permis de se mettre en réseau pour coproduire et distribuer leurs productions. Les résultats sont probants.

Vous pouvez en découvrir quelques aspects en visitant notre site. Aujourd’hui, nous nous lançons avec eux dans la seconde étape de notre projet : soutenir en production et en distribution 50 projets sur 3 ans, en créant SOFIACINE, société de financement appliquée au cinéma et à l’audiovisuel.



PRÉSENTATION


L’ambition d’Art’mell est de soutenir des producteurs indépendants en facilitant les investissements dans leur productions, sans que cette démarche relève de la seule passion déraisonnable ou de la prise de risque incontrôlée.

Le mécanisme de son intervention s’appuie sur une observation simple :
Placer de l’argent sur un film revient à espérer que celui-ci arrivera au bout du long processus de développement puis de production, et qu’il remportera finalement un succès suffisant sur les différents marchés pour que l’investissement consenti à chaque étape de sa fabrication s’avère rentable… Dans ce processus, les risques financiers pris sur le projet par un investisseur sont d’autant plus importants que le projet est original et créatif.

L’intervention d’Art’mell consiste à proposer aux investisseurs de miser non sur une production, mais sur une structure porteuse d’un ensemble de projets. La mutualisation des risques assure la garantie de rentabilité :
même si certains des projets n’arrivent pas au bout du processus de production, les autres connaissent ou connaîtront ce succès.
L’investisseur, associé à l’ensemble des projets, sécurise par ce mécanisme ses retours d’investissement !

Art’mell mise aussi bien sur des projets de cinéma que de télévision dont les contrats, une fois signés avec des chaînes, réduisent à zéro les risques du développement.

L’intérêt manifesté à la fois par des financiers et par les producteurs qui ont déjà souhaité s’associer à la structure démontre la justesse et le réalisme de l’ambition déclarée.

Art’Mell a réussi son pari et poursuit son développement et sa sélection de partenaires tant producteurs que financiers pour aménager son business modèle.

PRESENTATION

Our intention at Art’mell is to support independent producers by helping them to attract investment for their productions, whilst ensuring that the whole process is not based simply upon a flight of fancy or impulsive risk-taking.

Our system is based upon a simple observation :
Investing in a film is, in effect, expressing the hope that this film will reach the end of the long road through the development and production process, and reap enough success in its various markets to ensure returns on the investment made at each stage. The more original and creative the film is, the greater the financial risks at stake for the investor during this process.

Art’mell works by allowing investors to back an ensemble of several projects rather than one individual production. In this way, risks are pooled and profits guaranteed. Even if some of the projects do not reach the end of the production process, the others either are or will be successful. This mechanism of being associated with the group of projects as a whole ensures that investors secure returns on their investment.



Art’mell backs projects for the cinema but also for television where, once the contracts have been signed with the channels, the risks associated with the development process are almost entirely eliminated.

The interest shown by both financial backers and producers who have expressed a desire to join us is clear proof of how sound and realistic our objectives are.

Art’mell’s initiative has, therefore, earned its spurs and we are now continuing development and selecting both producers and financial backers as partners in order to draw up a business model.

Joining in with Art’mell’s initiative means benefiting from our risk-pooling strategy. It gives numerous projects a chance without the risk of seeing an edifice crumble before you because it was resting on a single pillar.
