The « International Filmfestival Mannheim-Heidelberg » since 1952 presents international film art as real premieres. The films and stories are selected out of many hundreds of new works by young directors. The worldwide discovery of new talents has founded the reputation of the festival since the beginning. The festival however also shows works from old masters of cinema.
