Printemps 1994, le Rwanda bascule dans 100 jours d’enfer, le Génocide Tutsi.
Rescapé à 12 ans du génocide, Dady de Maximo MWICIRA MITALI nous révèle en images et à travers des témoignages des bourreaux, des victimes et de leurs sauveurs, la mémoire des innocents jetés, notés et repêchés dans le lac Victoria après 6 mois suivant le printemps de 1994. En fin de compte, plus de 17 000 corps furent repêchés en Ouganda. Il rend hommage aux pécheurs ougandais, pour la plupart morts des conséquences de la récupération des corps.

The inside story of the Rwandan genocide. The project originated from the realization that people do not take into account the memory of genocide victims thrown into various streams and rivers throughout Rwanda during the 1994 genocide. The artists is committed to preserve the memory of those innocent victims.
Many victims were forcibly drowned in rivers and streams, their bodies travelled miles from one river to another, until finally reaching Uganda about 4 months following the 100 days of violence that the country went through in spring 1994. Eventually, a number of 11,004 corpses were retrieved from Lake Victoria in Uganda.
