Augusto et Paulina sont ensemble et s’aiment depuis 25 ans. Il y a huit ans, leur vie a été bouleversée par le diagnostic de la maladie d’Alzheimer d’Augusto. En tant qu’un des commentateurs culturels et présentateurs de télévision les plus en vue du Chili, Augusto n’est pas étranger à la constitution d’archives de la mémoire. Aujourd’hui, il se consacre à sa propre vie, essayant de préserver son identité avec l’aide de sa bien-aimée Paulina, dont la prééminence en tant qu’actrice célèbre et ministre chilienne de la culture précède sa manière sans cesse inventive de s’engager auprès de son mari. Jour après jour, le couple fait face à ce défi en s’appuyant sur la tendre affection et le sens de l’humour qu’ils partagent et qui restent remarquablement et totalement intacts.

As one of Chile’s most prominent cultural commentators and television presenters, Augusto is no stranger to building an archive of memory. Now he turns that work to his own life, trying to hold on to his identity with the help of his beloved Paulina, whose own pre-eminence as a famous actress and Chilean Minister of Culture predates her ceaselessly inventive manner of engaging with her husband. Day by day, the couple face this challenge head-on, relying on the tender affection and sense of humour shared between them that remains remarkably and fully intact.
