Pierre Bernadin alias "Tito", né le 22 novembre 1971 à Hinche (Haïti) et un écrivain, comédien et scénariste.
Né en Haïti, Roosvelito, son prénom d’origine dont la contraction donnera Tito – est d’abord confié à sa grand-mère qui assure son éducation et lui apporte l’amour maternel. Ses parents avaient en effet quitté leur île pour chercher du travail en France. La famille réunie déménage à la cité Paul-Éluard, à Bobigny en banlieue parisienne, où Tito découvre l’école primaire, apprend le français et se fait ses premiers copains, ceux avec qui il commettra des bêtises d’enfant. Il grandi avec un père abusif et brutal et rêve de devenir plus tard dessinateur, ou chirurgien. Adolescent, Pierre Tito s’affiche comme rebelle et antimilitariste avant de finir par porter l’uniforme pendant dix-huit mois, par « mesure disciplinaire à la suite du cambriolage d'un magasin de farces et attrapes” à Drancy. « J’étais mineur, le juge m’a offert cette voie de sortie », commente-t-il. Après l’armée, Tito cherche à gagner sa vie honnêtement et se fait recruter comme agent de sécurité.
Et sa « belle histoire d’amour ». Mais c’était compter sans la séparation, puis la dépression. « De mon mal-être, je n’ai pas su en parler à mes proches. En revanche, j’ai trouvé que les défis lancés par d’anciens braqueurs seyaient parfaitement à mon envie de me foutre en l’air », il n’envisage comme porte de sortie que de mourir sous les balles de la police… Il raconte cette entrée dans le grand banditisme dans le livre "Alias Tito" de Françoise Toussaint paru en 2012, où lors d'une conversation avec des amis, anciens repris de justice qui racontaient leurs larcins, certains ont commencé à décrire leur modus operandi dans les holds-ups qu'ils avaient commis. Pierre Tito Bernadin déteste la violence. Aussi attentif que perplexe a l'écoute de leurs anecdotes, il leur dit : « … Mais c'est que des conneries… je pense qu'il y a de meilleures façons de faire et qu'on peut braquer une banque différemment… » Charrié par la meute que je venais de chauffer, et qui cherchait a me prendre au mot, je me suis alors laissé porter pour répondre à l'un deux : « Aaah… tu me crois pas ?… bah, vas-y ; ramène-moi ton calibre. Je vais te montrer. Tu me choisis une banque, et tu m'attends. Je vais te la braquer. » Pierre Tito Bernadin commettra onze braquages en cinq mois. Tito choisira de se rendre de lui-même. Il sera condamné à sept ans de prison et en fait six jusqu'à sa sortie en 2009.
En 2015, il publie sa biographie dans le livre "Confession d’un Braqueur Suicidaire" : « Je veux juste montrer aux jeunes qui se perdent sur les chemins dangereux que ça ne mène nulle part », et travaille auprès des jeunes en tant que référent de quartier depuis 2016. Dans les collèges, en bas des tours ou à l’occasion d’activités destinées aux jeunes, l’ex-braqueur raconte son parcours sans jamais le sublimer. Bien au contraire, il porte un jugement assez critique et sévère sur son passé. Tito s’est, par ailleurs, engagé dans l’action humanitaire et la solidarité avec son pays de naissance à la suite du tremblement de terre qui avait dévasté Haïti en janvier 2010.
En 2013, Tito interprète son propre rôle dans la déclinaison du livre "Alias Tito", réalisé par Quentin Lestienne. Depuis il enchaine les rôles au cinéma.
