Ofei Dako

OFEI DAKO, was born in 1967 in Ghana. He graduated in 1995 at Ghanatta College of Art and Design in Accra, Ghana. He holds a National Diploma in Painting and taught art at Ghanatta from 1996 to 2002. During these years he practiced his artistic ambitions along side. He had several exhibitions both locally (Ghana National Museum) and abroad (the USA and South Africa). Ofei Dako is inspired by his native culture which he portrays in its simplest forms using acrylic paint on canvas.
