Né à Banfora au Burkina Faso, Ahmed Soura est diplômé de l'Institut National de Formation Artistique et Culturelle (INAFAC) animé par Daniel Bansé et Ousseni Manli du Ballet National du Burkina Faso, Toé Emmanuel et M. Congo Alassanne.
Il participe à des ateliers de formation à l'ADMS en France animés par Anne Marie Pascolie et des danseurs-chorégraphes du Ballet de Paris et du Ballet de Marseille.
Formé en danse contemporaine et Afro-Contemporaine par Salia Sanou, Seydou Boro, Ousseni Sako, Angelin Preljocaj, Carolyn Carlson, Eddy Malem, Opyo Okach, Rokia Kone, Gregory Maqoma, Krisztina de Chatel, Ariry Andriamoratsiresy et Andrius Vanderpost grâce au festival "Dialogue de Corps" au Burkina Faso.
Il se perfectionne en danse contemporaine et choréographie auprès de Mathilde Monnier, Christina de Smedt, Xavier Le Roy, Jan Ristema, Loic Touze, Mette Ingvarsten, Andros Zinsbrowne, Claude Espinassier et Anna Falcidia grâce à la formation Exerce au Centre Chorégraphique National de Montpellier.
Il se forme aussi en moderne jazz contemporaine par Sylvie Pagenaud.
Il intègre la troupe de danse traditionnelle au Musé de Musique du Burkinaba "Baobab Sacré", la compagnie (Cie) Corp'Art "MAZA" et "Sous la Douche", la Cie Le Moovenement "Pourquoi tu Bouges", la Cie de Irène TASSEMBEDO "Allah Garibou", "Sacre du Tempo" et "Souffle", la Cie Acli Boureima Kiénou "Etre sans Etre", etc avec des tournés nationaux et internationaux. Il anime plusieurs stages de danse au Burkina Faso, au Togo, en France, en Suisse, en Allemagne et au Brésil.
Expériences artistiques
Novembre 2014 à Février 2015: Ahmed Soura intègre la compagnie Pink Mama Theatre à Berne, Suisse pour la création "Dynastie"
2014: Grand prix des Théatre Allemand "FAUST" en Chorégraphie avec le spectacle "Dance is not enough" de Christoph Winkler.
Février 2014: Premier musique Album single "Un peu de cas même" chansson "Les bêtises de nos ainés"
Aout 2013 à Septembre 2014, il intègre la Cie Christoph Winkler pour "Dance is not enough", "Abendliche Tänzer" et en Solo dans "Hauptrolle".
De octobre 2012 à avril 2013, il intégrera le ballet de l'Opéra Deutsche Oper Berlin à l'occasion de la création " Die Liebe zu den drei Orangen " [L'Amour des trois Oranges].
Du 13 août au 23 septembre, il danse dans le spectacle " Das Mädchen mit den Schwefelhölzern " [La petite Fille aux Allumettes] à l'Opéra Deutsche Oper Berlin.
Du 10 juillet au 5 août, il danse au Burkina Faso dans " Declassified " de Tarpaga & Berker.
Il est danseur en mai-juillet à l'occasion de la création du " Sacre du Printemps " par la compagnie Konstantin Tsakalidis à Konstanz, Allemagne.
Il participe au mois d'avril à la tournée au Brésil des lauréats du 15ème International Solo-Tanz-Theater Festival 2011.
Création de son solo " Ecrasement 100Sens " en Espagne [février-mars].
Ahmed Soura dans "En opposition avec moi" arrache le 3ème Prix de la 15ème édition du concours "International Solo-Tanz-Theater Festival" 2011 à Stuttgart en Allemagne, suivie d'une tournée Allemande en novembre 2011.
2010, Ahmed Soura intègre le spectacle d'opéra "Via Intolleranza II" du metteur en scène Christoph Schlingensief avec une tournée Européenne.
2009-2010, Il est danseur interprète la Cie Joseph Aka en partenariat avec l'Orchestre des Pays de Savoie dans: Regard Croisé France-Afrique "Tout sauf mon ombre".

Ahmed Soura a été assistant chorégraphe de Irène TASSEMBEDO pour le spectacle d'ouverture et de clôture du Festival Panafricain du Cinéma de Ouagadougou (FESPACO) 2009 au Burkina Faso.
2005-2007, Assistant chorégraphe de Gahé Armand Pierre à l'école de danse et théâtre de l'Atelier Théâtre Burkinabé (ATB) pendant deux ans et Directeur artistique de la troupe de danse traditionnelle "KÔRO" en 2006.
Depuis 2006, il est Chorégraphe et Danseur dans : Écrasement 100Sens, En opposition avec moi, Pas qu'un Poids, Rien ne m'appartient, Vision Autre, A TO puis "La Belle Poubelle" avec Karl Parquema et "Yako" avec Marius Moguiba.
AHMED SOURA s'applique avec constance à la création de chorégraphies contemporaines, afro-contemporaines ou traditionnelles d'Afrique à l'appui maîtrisé de tout son corps dans sa sueur, sa rapidité, sa finesse, sa virtuosité et son élan mystique.
