Robyn Rorke

Rorke termine actuellement sa thèse à l’Université de Cape Town sur la démocratie, la gouvernance et l’activisme civique. C’est une chercheuse en sciences sociales qui s’intéresse aux histoires et elle emploie à la base une méthode d’observation participative dans ses recherches. Rorke travaille sur la Campagne Anti-expulsion à Cape Town depuis 1994, et elle a un contact étroit avec les deux militants portraiturés dans Pam & Ashraf.

Rorke is currently working towards her PhD at the University of Cape Town in the fields of democracy, governance and civic activism. She is a social scientist who is interested in stories and she primarily employs a method of participant observation in her research. Rorke has worked with the Anti-eviction Campaign in Cape Town since 1994, and has close contact with the two activists represented in Pam & Ashraf.
