Ezzat Al Alayli

Acteur et ambassadeur du cinéma égyptien, Ezzat El Alayli a participé à plus de 70 films au cinéma entre 1962 et 2000. Diplômé de l'Institut Supérieur d'Art Dramatique en 1960, il est un acteur sélectif, reconnu pour ses rôles "engagés", ses films de genre, dramatique ou politique. Ses rôles ont souvent rejoint des questions liées à la pauvreté et à la paysannerie, aux thèmes récurrents de la terre, de la patrie et de la liberté. Ses choix de personnages ont été marqués en particulier par le courant "réaliste" du cinéma égyptien ("La Terre", 1968, "Le Vendeur d'eau est mort !", 1977, "Le Collier et le bracelet", 1986, "Citoyen Masri", 1991).
