Walid Aouni

Choréographe, acteur et réalisateur égyptien.

Egyptian choreographer, Actor and Film Director.

Walid Aouni was first known in Belgium in 80’s. He studied « Graphic Arts » and fine arts at the Royal Academy of fine Arts in Brussels in 1980. He created his first dance theatre group « Tanit, theatre of dance theatre ». In 1988, his dance theatre group staged the inaugural performance for Arab World Institute in Paris. The Ministry of Culture in Belgium acknowledged him as a modern dance choreographer. During this period,he choreographed and directed 8 famous performances.
