Karim Goury est diplômé de l'Ecole nationale supérieure d'arts (ENSA), Paris-Cergy, France, et de l'école Louis Lumière de Noisy-le-Grand. Il a été directeur de la photographie sur des documentaires avant de passer à la réalisation.

Karim Goury holds an MFA from the National Art School, Cergy-Pontoise, France, and studied at the Louis Lumière National School of Cinema, Noisy-le-Grand. He was director of photography for the documentaries "New Face, New Life" directed by Marie-Françoise Lantieri, and Olivier Lerner's "A House in Prison". As director, he has followed his debute, "Made in Egypt", with the short "I'll Be Right Back", "I'm Gonna Meet my Father" (2007) and "The man Inside" (2012).

يحمل كريم غوري ماجيستير في السينما من المعهد الوطني الفرنسي للفنون ودرس كتابة السيناريو في "لا فيميس" في باريس. فيلمه "صنع في مصر" نال جائزة أفضل فيلم وثائقي في مهرجان دبي السينمائي الدولي عام ٢٠٠٧
