Yassine Balbzioui

Yassine Balbzioui est un artiste plasticien multidisciplinaire. Né au Maroc en 1972, il a suivi plusieurs enseignements artistiques : à l’Ecole des Beaux Arts de Casablanca (de 1992 à 1996), à l’Ecole des Beaux-Arts de Bordeaux (DNSEP) de 1996 à 2001), puis à l’université de Berkeley en Californie où il a suivi l’option cinéma en 2002.

Il a notamment exposé au CAPC de Bordeaux dans le cadre du projet « Limites non garanties », et dans différents pays: à la Galerie Städelschule à Frankfort dans le cadre de l’exposition « Métronome » en 1999 ou encore au Musée International de la Femme à San Francisco en 2008.

Il vit actuellement à Bordeaux mais travaille partout.

Yassine Balbzioui is a multidisciplinary artist. Born in Morocco in 1972, he followed several artistic educations): at the School of the Fine arts of Casablanca (from 1992 untill 1996), to the Art college of Bordeaux (DNSEP) from 1996 till 2001), then at the university Berkeley in California where he followed cinema option in 2002.
He exposed(his work at musuem of contempory art CAPC of Bordeaux within the framework of the project  » Limites non garanties », and in various countries: in the Gallery Städelschule to Frankfort within the framework of the exhibition « Metronome » in 1999 and the International Museum of the Woman in San Francisco in 2008.

He lives in Bordeaux and works everywhere
