Ali El Hadj Tahar

Né le 18 mars 1954 à Merad, dans la région de Tipasa, Algérie. Dessine depuis l’âge de 8 ans et commence à écrire de la poésie à l’âge de 14 ans. Diplôme : Licence de Lettres anglaises, université d’Alger, 1978. En tant que journaliste, il a commencé à écrire des articles en 1974 : Alger Réalités, Algérie Actualités, El Moudjahid, Révolution Africaine, El Watan, Tassili? En tant que peintre, il a commencé à exposer avec le Groupe des 35 en 1982, avec Issiakhem, Khadda, Larbi, Ziani, Bourdine? Sa dernière grande exposition a eu lieu en 2005, au Musée National des Beaux arts d’Alger, avec Lazhar Hakkar.

A occupé le poste de Directeur du Développement et de la Promotion des Arts, au Ministère algérien de la culture, de mai 2005 à mai 2007.

Publications : « Bettina », 1983, RFA, une monographie sur l’aquarelliste allemande. « Poèmes bleus », 1984, ENAL, Algérie: recueil de poèmes.
« Encyclopédie de la poésie algérienne de langue française, 1930-2008, 157 poètes », édition Dalimen, Alger, 2009.

Born in March 18th, 1954 in Merad, in the area of Tipasa, Algeria. He draws since the age of 8 years and has started to write poetry at the 14 years age. Diploma: Degree of English Literature, university of Algiers, 1978. As a journalist, he started writing articles in 1974: Alger Réalités, Algérie Actualités, El Moudjahid, Révolution Africaine, El Watan, Tassili?As a painter, he started showing his works in 1982 with Issiakhem, Khadda, Larbi, Ziani, Bourdine? His last great exhibition took place in 2005, in the National museum of Fine arts of Algiers, with Lazhar Hakkar.

He also occupied the position of director of the Development and Promotion of Arts in the Algerian Ministry of culture from May 2005 to May 2007. Publications: « Bettina », a monograph on the German painter, 1983, Germany.
