Kiri Davis est la réalisatrice du documentaire multiprimé A Girl Like Me qu'elle a fait à l'âge de seize ans. Depuis sa sortie, le film a eu plusieurs prix dont celui de la Urban League Guild : "Vanguard Award," le "Golden Starfish Award" du Festival de cinéma de Hampton et le "Diversity Award" du The Media That Matters. "A Girl Like Me" a été aussi sélectionné dans plus de vingt Festival de cinéma dont celui de Tribeca et a été projeté dans le monde entier.
