Peace Anyiam-Osigwe est avocate, poète, éditrice et productrice de cinéma.
Elle est fondatrice de l’African Movie Academy Awards (AMAA). La réalisatrice Dorothee Wenner lui a consacré un film portrait : « PEACE MISSION » (documentaire, 2008).
En 2010, le Festival International de Cinéma d’Afrique (Africa International Film Festival – AFRIFF) a été lancé aux 6èmes Africa Academy Awards (AMAA) le 10 Avril à Bayelsa, Nigeria par Peace Anyiam-Osigwe, fondatrice de AMAA et Directrice artistique d’AFRIFF (Lagos).
Sa famille a annoncé son décès le 10 Janvier 2023.
