David entre en 2003 à la Fondation Olorun par l’intermédiaire de son coach de foot Ousseny Ouedraogo. Il apprend l’art au côté de Sougrinoma Dabilgou jusqu?en 2007 ou il rejoint Farafikan Design.
David donne de la valeur au tronc séché d’arbre par ses oeuvres, en melangeant fer et bois.
