Doudou Ndiaye Rose Junior

Musicien, danseur, chorégraphe et historien, il est initié aux rythmes et à la danse dans le ventre de sa mère! Diplômé du Centre « Mudra Afrique », fondé par Maurice Béjart et Léopold Sédar Senghor en 1977 à Dakar, il a été nommé premier danseur au concours national de danse et de comédie musicale en 1983 à Dakar, puis lauréat des cinquièmes nuits des jeunes créateurs au Palais des congrès de Paris en 1992. Il a fait le tour du monde avec son père DOUDOU NDIAYE ROSE, Tambour Major du Sénégal, et a chorégraphié pour YOUSSOU N’DOUR. Il est le premier danseur sénégalais à introduire le Sabar en France dans sa globalité. Fondateur et directeur de la compagnie SABAR HORIZONS en 1990, il obtient le prix de la création artistique de Bretagne en 2003 avec le Bagad « MEN HA TAN » de Quimperlé pour le spectacle « Transes en danse ».
